About Me

I know how frustrating using a slow, buggy app is
The awkward pause while waiting for a page to load, the instinctive switch to another app "just for a few seconds," or the subtle annoyance when things don’t work as expected. That’s exactly why I do what I do, to ensure users enjoy smooth, reliable, and intuitive software experiences without hurdles.
With over 6 years of experience in manual and automation testing, I’ve honed a QA process that involves breaking down product requirements into effective tests based on risk assessment and business requirements. Every team has different quality needs and with my vast experience in QA, I am able to access what those are and design tests, and QA practices that fulfil those needs. I'm ISTQB certified and a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) with deep experience working in Agile teams and collaborating closely with developers to ensure that features are thoroughly tested to meet sprint goals.
Outside of work, I love building tools that make everyday life easier. One of my favourite side projects is a personal finance app I built called Shirley (yes, it might be a tongue twister but it’s the first name that came to mind!). Shirley was born from my habit of forgetting items on shopping lists and my need to track frequent price changes. The app helps me stay within budget, tracks my expenses, and even auto-generates shopping lists based on my purchase history. It’s now used by friends and family, who all agree: Shirley makes shopping smarter.
Recently, I started a Youtube channel where I post about my experience using QA tools to carry out tests, and write automated tests with Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, etc.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.
